This Privacy Policy describes how Beapnow (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the Beapnow Mini Golf mobile application for iOS and watchOS (the “App”). This is a practical summary of current product behavior; it is not legal advice. If you need a formal legal review for your jurisdiction, please consult counsel.
1. Summary
- No account or sign-in is required to use the App.
- Courses, scores, and settings are stored on your devices.
- We do not operate a Beapnow account server that collects your gameplay data.
- In-app purchases are processed by Apple.
- Phone ↔ Watch course sync uses Apple’s WatchConnectivity between your devices only.
- If you email us, we receive what you choose to send.
2. Information the App stores on your device
Depending on how you use the App, it may store locally:
- Custom courses and holes you create (including terrain and features)
- Score history and round results
- Settings (for example sound, haptics, flyover, high-contrast, sync preferences)
- Purchase unlock flags for optional content (Creator, course packs) after Apple confirms a purchase or restore
This data remains on your iPhone and/or Apple Watch unless you delete the App, clear data via the OS, or export/share content yourself.
3. Information we do not collect by default
As of the effective date, the App is designed not to:
- Require registration or a Beapnow user profile
- Upload your courses or scores to Beapnow servers automatically
- Track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising
- Show third-party advertising SDKs
- Include a third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK that phones home by default
If that changes in a future version, we will update this policy and App Store privacy answers before shipping.
4. Purchases
Optional in-app purchases (for example Creator or course packs) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to payment processing. You can restore purchases in the App’s Settings.
5. Sharing you initiate
You may choose to export or share a course file (typically small JSON) or share a score card using system share sheets, email, or other apps you control. That sharing is user-initiated. Recipients and services you pick have their own practices.
6. Apple Watch & iPhone communication
When both devices are available, the App may transfer course catalog data between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple WatchConnectivity so you can play on your wrist. That traffic stays between your devices via Apple’s frameworks.
7. Communications with Beapnow
If you contact us at minigolf@beapnow.com, we process the content of your message (and your email address) to respond to support, feedback, or legal requests. We retain correspondence only as long as needed for support and legitimate business records.
8. Children
The App is a casual game suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 as a social network or data-collection product. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Data retention & deletion
Local App data is controlled by you and your devices. Uninstalling the App typically removes on-device App data (subject to Apple’s backup behavior). For email support records, contact us to request deletion where applicable.
10. Security
We rely on Apple platform security for on-device storage and purchase validation. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure; please keep your device software updated and use a passcode/biometrics.
11. International users
The App may be available in multiple regions through the App Store. Processing of support email may occur where we operate. By using the App or contacting us, you understand your information may be handled as described here.
12. Your choices
- Do not create or share courses if you prefer not to store or send that content
- Disable optional settings (sound, haptics, etc.) in the App
- Manage or cancel subscriptions/purchases via your Apple ID settings (as applicable)
- Email us with privacy questions or requests
13. App Store “App Privacy” label
In App Store Connect we aim to reflect actual behavior. If the App does not collect data off-device beyond what you send us by email or share yourself, the product may be labeled consistent with “Data Not Collected” for developer-operated collection — only when that remains accurate. Purchases are handled by Apple.
14. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or practices change. The effective date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
